check out my painting on the cover for the awesomely raw booming blare that is THE HERMS - DROP OUT VOL 1 out now on Castle Face Records. we have it playing all the time in the office (‘cause i said so). it’s my first physical LP in my hands, and i like it a lot. : )
it has some real great gems hand-picked to be audio-delicious as one solid volume.

CHROME - HALF MACHINE FROM THE SUN

I worked on the new CHROME release HALF MACHINE FROM THE SUN - The Lost Chrome Tracks from’79-‘80, funded with kickstarter to buy back essential tracks produced (and lost) during  prolific period of sheer brilliance between HAa LF MACHINE LIP MOVES and 3rd FROM THE SUN.
It was a pleasing experience with the concept provided by the wonderful performance / video artist (and occasional Chrome member) Monet Clark, with the forms assembled, and nuanced with digital wizardry by Shalo P (and his electric hands). 
sidenote: I got to skinny dip in the creek in front of Terry Riley’s house during the trip.
